– [Reacher] Autumn leaves are falling and cooler weather is coming on. You know what that means,
it’s time for a camping trip. This is Reacher and here are 10 caravans and camper vans you need to try. – [Woman Announcer] Number 10. – [Reacher] This off road camper from MDC is another example of the innovations that go into building these things. The body is composed of
an aluminum composite which sits on a steel chassis with full off road capabilities. It measures just over 23 feet or 7.1 meters from the hitch to taillights and weighs in at a modest
5850 pounds or 2650 kilograms. The roof raises using two handles, one at each end of the caravan
to increase the living space. Inside you will find a kitchen area that includes a mid size fridge freezer, an oven, a triple burner cook top, and a stainless steel sink. A small dinette area is opposite that with bench seating for two
and a small removable table. The fold out area at the
rear houses a queen size bed. This along with a fold down bunk bed in converted dinette seating can sleep up to four people comfortably. Power comes from three 12 volt batteries that are charged by solar
panels located on the roof. Exterior features include
a slide out kitchen with a three burner cook top, a sink, a slide out fridge
freezer, and a shower pod that sets up in minutes. Pricing on this one is
currently around $44,000. – [Woman Announcer] Number nine. – [Reacher] If you like having
all you need in a camper but keeping it simple in the process, than this one may be the
one you’re looking for. The single side door in the rear opens up to a kitchenette which contains a flush mounted triple burner cook top, an oven-grill combo, a sink, and a 106 liter fridge freezer. The opposite rear corner houses an enclosed wet bath with
a wall mounted shower head, cassette toilet and a fold
out sink with a vanity mirror. The dinette area with bench style seating, a fold down wall table,
and a free standing table make up the front area. This space can be converted
to either dual twin beds, or queen size bed. Multiple windows throughout as well as two large front windows open
up to allow natural air flow. Pricing for this one is currently
around the $20,000 mark. – [Woman Announcer] Number eight. – [Reacher] I don’t have
enough time to tell you all the things that makes this a go to considering the quality, style,
and luxury it has to offer. It comes in two models with
minor differences in the layout. With a length of just
over 24 feet or 7.4 meters and a width of over seven and
a half feet or 2.3 meters. The bedroom area is housed in the rear with a choice of either a queen bed or two twin beds that can be
converted to a larger bed. There’s also a sunroof
and two side windows that allow natural light and air flow. Moving forward is the bathroom which has the swiveling cassette toilet, a wash basin with a counter
top and a stand up shower. The kitchenette is located
just in front of that and has triple burner cook top, a sink with a cutting board cover, and a 190 liter fridge freezer. The lounge area can
accommodate up to five people using the L shaped bench and
swiveling captain’s chairs. The base price for this one
currently starts around $92,000. – [Woman Announcer] Number seven. – [Reacher] Would you be a
bit skeptical if I told you that you could sleep up to eight people and haul two full size
motorbikes in a caravan 24 feet or 7.4 meter long? Well question no more
because the Jayco Basestation is the one that can do it if required. A side door opens to reveal a living space containing a sink, a microwave,
a full size gas stove, and slim line two door refrigerator. Opposite that is a slide out
that contains the lounge area which has U shaped bench
seating and a dining table. In addition to the side
door, a large rear hatch serves as an access ramp for easy loading and unloading of your gear
into the storage area. Sleeping accommodations are provided by multiple fold up bunks in the rear, an extension in the front which houses a queen size mattress,
and a lounge seating which modifies to a
queen size bed as well. Pricing on this one will

says this one has been 60 years in the making with this newest model in the Volkswagen
line of camper vans. A large sliding door on the side is where was the rear hatch opened to an interior living
space that can be increased via the pop up roof. The small kitchenette area includes a dual burner cook top, a
sink, and a 42 liter cooler. There’s also a removable table
that can be attached as well. There’s room to sleep up to four people using the roof bed that mounts in the expanded area as well as the floor below. Pricing currently runs around $60,000 for the Beach and $72,000 for the Ocean. – [Woman Announcer] Number five. – [Reacher] This handy little
tow able would be perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors. The kitchenette features
a dual burner cook top, a sink, and an 80 liter mini fridge, while the dining area is composed of curved bench style seating. The rear houses a lounge area with an L shaped bench and an
enclosed corner wet bath consisting of a cassette
toilet and a fold down sink with a faucet that doubles
as a hand held shower head. The seating area is both half tables that lower telescopically
allowing them to be converted into sleeping accommodations for up to four people. The price on the Travelino
starts around $24,000. – [Woman Announcer] Number four. – [Reacher] This one almost appears to be your every day van for personal use. Almost. The dining area can
accommodate four people at the extendable table
with the bench seating and rotating captain’s chairs. Across from this is a kitchenette that has a dual burner cook top
and stainless steel sink both with glass covers, as well
as an 80 liter mini fridge. A fold down extension to the counter adds more prep space if needed. Behind the dining area is an enclosed wet bath with a rotating cassette toilet and sliding sink which allows the user extra room when bathing. The faucet doubles up as
a removable shower head which can then be extended
and mounted on the wall. The previously mentioned sleeping space is provided by two full size bunk beds in the rear which can
be dismantled as needed. Pricing on this one currently
runs around $47,000. – [Woman Announcer] Number three. – [Reacher] This one
is called the Caraboat. A port man tow that
words caravan and boat. Twin 30 horsepower outboard engines straddle a small deck which
leads into the living area. Here you’ll find a lounge
area with bench seating and a removable table. Moving forward on the right,
you’ll find the galley area which offers a triple burner cook top with a glass cover, an oven,
a mini fridge with a freezer, and a double well stainless steel sink. The front houses another lounge area with bench seating that folds out into a queen size bed. This along with the bench
seating in the rear, offers enough room to sleep four people. The engine and steering controls are on a wall mounted arm that folds away underneath the cabinet when not in use. Panoramic windows and a
large star gazer window at the front open to
allow natural air flow as well as providing an almost 360 degree view of the surroundings . Current pricing on this one is a bit over $100,000 for the standard model. – [Woman Announcer] Number two. – [Reacher] This extremely tough
looking caravan is made all the more intimidating by the
triple axle chassis it sits on. It makes sense considering
it measures in at a length of 26 feet or 7.9 meters. And has an estimated weight
of 88 hundred pounds, or four metric tons when fully loaded. Outside you’ll find amenities such as four drop down table
trays, a slide out kitchen with a dual burner cook top and sink, and a shower with a soap dispenser. On the roof is an auto
tracking satellite dish along with eight solar
panels and a solar awning over the front window which provides more than one thousand watts of power. Inside starting in the rear is a bathroom spanning the full width of the caravan. Moving forward places
you in the dining area which contains a U shaped bench seating with a foot operated pedestal table. Opposite that is the kitchen area which includes a double
sided sink, an oven, a cook top with two gas
burners and one induction, a microwave, a wine chiller,
a pull out dishwasher, and a 95 liter pull out

under 15 feet or 4.5 meters and a total length of just
over 30 feet or 9.2 meters. The kitchen which is located at the front includes a stove with two gas burners and two induction burners, an oven, a microwave, a sink, and a side by side refrigerator freezer. The living room has and L shaped sofa and a love seat with a table that raises and lowers telescopically. Moving towards the rear, you’ll find multiple closets on either
side with a bedroom area behind that which has two twin beds. Between those is the
entrance to the bathroom which has a rotating cassette toilet with an electric flush, a
sink, and a stand up shower. The staircase between the bed and closets leads to the upper floor which has an indoor lounge area with
large windows and skylights. The door from this leads to
a balcony with and awning. This double-decker was built in honor of the companies 60th anniversary. Although it’s not definitive, the estimated cost is around $220,000. – Hey guys, this is Cassie.
