(upbeat music) – [Glen] Fall is quickly approaching and with it comes
fantastic camping weather and if tent camping isn’t your thing then I might have an alternative for you. I’m Glen and we’re bringing you 10 truck bed campers made in the USA. (dynamic electro music) – [Woman] Number 10. – [Glen] Made in Montana,
this Platform camper combines the best of rooftop tents
and full-size campers. Mounting directly to the track
along the bed of your truck it fully encloses the truck bed and has a pop-up sleeping area on top, and each side of the enclosed area opens for easy access to store gear. When popped open, the
sleeping area comfortably fits two people on a 3-inch
high-density foam mattress. Another great feature
of this Platform camper is that when the tent is folded down it has a carrying capacity of up to 500 pounds or 226 kilograms. This way you don’t have to sacrifice the versatility of your truck
with the camper attached. Carrying capacity while open
is 100 pounds or 45 kilograms. Pricing starts out at around $6,300. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number nine – [Glen] The LaVeta pop-top,

typically very tall campers. The top of the camper extends
from five feet, or 1.5 meters, to a height of 6.5 feet,
or two meters, inside. This pop-up ability allows for
easy travel wherever you go. The interior holds a dinette area with sink, stove-top and sitting area as well as a queen-size bed. It has a 30 gallon water tank as well as a three gallon water heater. The camper weighs around 1,200
pounds, or 540 kilograms. Pricing starts out at $27,000. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number eight. – [Glen] The Drifter is
another platform camper but this one is made
entirely from aluminum. Vagabond Outdoors from
California made The Drifter to be a lightweight option to campers without sacrificing
durability or living space. The sides of The Drifter don’t open but are better sealed
against the weather outside. The pop-up tent is polyester coated vinyl, features three windows and is waterproof. It comes with a three-inch
high-density foam mattress. Optional features include
side windows and doors, lower level lighting,
interior roof lighting, and L-track roof mounts. Pricing starts out at around $6,500. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number seven. – [Glen] Northwood

area there is an enclosed bathroom with sink and toilet, the bedroom is located
above the cab of the truck and holds a queen-size
bed and even more storage. There are so many extras with this one it would take a whole
video to go over them. Pricing starts out at around $25,000. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number six. – [Glen] Capri Campers,
