Such a beautiful ocean views! My favorite!
Love your videos Robert. Sipping an IPA while I watch right now.
I was a Muni bus driver and drove the 76x marin headlands route. You are right, sometimes they make Conzelman Rd one way because cars would literally wait to get a parking spot to visit Battery Spencer. It get backed up so bad, it takes me 30 minutes to an hour, longest time was 2 hours. So I am glad they are doing this and should do it more often. Another great video Robert!!
GOOOOOOD MORNING ROBERT !
Very nice Robert. The west is down the road a few years for me.
Robert you are the traveling man . Thanks for all the great videos
Another great video Robert, its great following you every week I cant wait to see your next one! by the way what kind of bed cover do you have on your truck? thinking of getting one. thanks
California is stunig! 16:12 Bodega in Portuguese means some kind of a little grocery store.
Happy Sunday aka Traveling Robert Day!!!!
Its foggy along the coast June thru August, plus the wind and humidity make it puffer jacket and scarf weather — brrrrrr. October is the best month for coastal views and sunshine. Whale migration is Sep/Oct and Mar/Apr, but they're way off shore, spouting in the distance. The coast is pristine due to the California Coastal Commission which strictly regulates development along the immediate coast. Thanks for this beautiful video!!
Las vistas de California son beautiful, la conozco completa porque estuve manejando 6 meses allí.Bella la despedida en la recta de Forrest Gump point, allí estuve una vez.💖💖💖👍😀
I hate you Robert haha.. cool videos…you are very good at what you do… keep it up 👍
Cow was rude. What's its beef?
Gooooood morning Robert! Happy Sunday. Thank you for another new video from your epic adventure out in the West. Remember that we keep you and your family in our prayers. Have a great day. Fly pelican, fly! 🌴👍😎
Robert I have been told the rocks are white from bird dropping
Robert, this brings back child memories, Thank You
Riding in your RV for free….. : D
This is why I say California is probably the most beautiful state in the USA. There is no other state that has the diversity of scenery that this state has. Who has Yosimite, Lake Tahoe, San Fran, HWY101, Redwood Forest, Laguna and Newport Beach, Pacific Ocean, Bev Hills, etc….? NO ONE! The argument of who has the most breath taking coast between the Pacific and Atlantic can be seen in part by this video that the Pacific is the winner hands down.
You are now on the longest and slowest road in America. And the closer to shoreline the colder it gets.I can imagine you as a late century explorer in a galleon ship stopping at every scenic bay on the same route.
Of all the times (on TV) I have seen the Golden Gate Bridge, that was real. The little towns along the way seem to date waaay back. How in the world would they have gotten all that lumber and talented carpenters to those remote locations back then?! Thank you Robert. Your talent lies in wanting to record just as we would. Hey, next time you are near some cows like you were at that casino, pull out your guitar and do your song for them. It's interesting and hilarious how they come all together to you to enjoy the show! Really! 🤣🐮🐮🐮🐮🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄
I loved this! Brings me back to a childhood family road trip. Thank u for the fun flashbacks 👍😍
Thank you. Beautifull vlog
Thanks again for the great video.
That was such a quick video. Time just flew by. Yes it is a wonderful drive up the coast. I have only made it to S.F. So this was so very nice to see.
Love your Fracking Not T-shirt
👍😎👍 Great Video! You have a typo in the opening splash screen… 😉
Love that coast… beautiful. Was there a couple of years ago on the big sur…. but travelled from the uk to Miami, staying on south beach… so lovely, but you didnt warn me about ocean drive at night 😂😂
Tomorrow…key west, any recommendations for breakfast Robert?
That had to be one oh the Mose beautiful drives ever! 🤩🚐🗺 You give the best details along the way! Enjoyed.
Gooood morning, once again I start my Sunday with coffee & traveling Robert video! Again it's a wonderful video, thanks for sharing! 🙋♂️
#38 Yup! I was there, back in 1969, when gas in California was 39 cents a gallon. A similar coast is route 132 in Quebec, Canada along the Gaspe, Penn. Just a beautiful ride. Thanks for taking me along.
Thank you Robert, great videos again.
"The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco." -possibly attributed to Mark Twain
Wow…..OMG Robert just beautiful footage this week. Misty and I were going to fly the plane up to the PNW and island hop…………but now she's saying "dear…..instead of flying the plane can we just drive up like Robert and take the Airstream instead???" Looks like our summer trip will be an Airstream trip now. LOL! Great episode.
I really enjoy your videos and admire your traveling lifestyle. thanks for all the traveling ideas.
Beautiful video of the CA coastline. Thanks Robert!
Great episode! I did a roadtrip to California in 2018 (Golden Gate, Yosemite, Death Valley, & everything in between) but didn't make it north. Looking forward to the next episode in the Red Woods!
As a ex 24 year southern Californian I always wanted to take a extended Northern California trip. Thanks
Another beautiful, yet foggy video and I still enjoyed it a lot.
At 17:30 mark you’ll see a half burned down house. It seems a deputy crashed over there a caught that rental property on fire. The people of the area want it gone, but it’s hard to for the owner to demolish it because of strict regulations. It’s been over 6 months since it was destroyed by the fire.
Hey Robert, I may have missed this, but do you make all the music playing in your videos? I find myself singing your theme song at all times of the day.
Did you create your own theme song ? If so I love it!
Such beautiful coastline reminds me of the jurassic coast in Dorset.
Good travelogue. The Pacific Ocean temp in August according to a site I was looking at ranges from a high of about 68 degrees in Southern California down to 53 degrees in Northern California. Way too cold for my taste. I'll stick to the Florida beaches.
Really enjoyed this journey up the coast . Thank You , Robertico
Thanks do much I've been on these same roads so many times, so good to visit it again! Thank You!
Welcome to my back yard, lol. Great pictures. You will get the fog everyday this time of year. Thanks for sharing.
Great video!! I did the Southern California tour last summer and plan on going back this year.I would really like to visit central Cali in next few years.
good man all the time you are the best brothr Robert
The Lighthouse is the foggiest part of the West Coast… in the area you can also see the Cypress Tree Tunnel and do a small hike to Alamere Falls which is one of the two waterfalls to kiss the Pacific Ocean besides McWay Falls in Big Sur.
Stunning scenery! I wanted to thank you for doing the map portions of your trips lately. It really helps as another visual aid. I've been to Oregon coast but neither California nor Washington coast so thanks for filling me in!
Go thou across the ground; go moan for man; go moan, go groan, go groan alone go roll your bones, alone; – Jack Kerouac
My family lives in Monterey. My sister linda passed away due to cancer lived in Carmel her husband still is there same home. I would go visit and even moved there for short time. I just missed the NC mountains and moved back. Loved your video brought back memories.
Before pulling into somewhere, pull out your phone and check google maps satellite image to see if it’s trailer friendly.
Your vids make me so happy…the school house from the Birds..good movie..that up close pic of the GGB was great ..thanks Robert😊
Your song is catchier than I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) ……
I've lived in northern California my entire life. Sometimes it's good to be reminded how lucky I am. I was also in national guard aviation and was able to see it by air. There used to be a small airfield at the base of the Golden gate we could land at! If you come back through that area someday, the hike out to tomales point in the pt Reyes area is bucket list worthy, and there is a campground in olema which will accommodate any size rig.
Mark Twain once said… the coldest winter I ever experienced was a summer in San Francisco.
It's amazing the discipline you have to do what you do by yourself ..amongst all the other talents you possess. I admire you for that…Thank you. Dale lo!
Hola Robert, I done the trip many year ago in it was great. If you ever stop by Madrid,Spain let give me a call.
Great video again as usual Robert. We are aiming to head out there this coming spring from our base at our villa in Kissimmee. When will you have the next video uploaded please as we hope to visit the Sequoyia National Park ourselves. Keep up the great work.
This video was one of your best because of the scenery. Unbelievable how beautiful it is. Great job with editing too. As always, have fun and stay safe.
