Today I have with me the Explorer Planet Earth Zulu Deluxe chair which is a lightweight chair suited for hiking and backpacking but can be used for general camping as well. Comes in this small bag which means it is very compactable so it’s overall length of 52cm, a height of 14cm and then a width of 14cm as well. The bag itself comes with these loops which you can attach to your backpack as well as handles on either side as well as a main zip. Let’s get stuck in to some of the main features of this chair and see…

Ep. 28: RV-Mounted BBQ Grill | RV camping how-to tips & tricks | Grand Adventure

Hi, welcome back to Grand Adventure! I’m your host Marc Guido. We’ve been looking for a better grilling solution for RV this season. We wanted something that we could mount directly to the RV and leave it there when traveling, and we’ve actually come up with a great solution. We’ll show you on this episode of Grand Adventure, so stay tuned. [Grand Adventure theme music] Now, we looked around online and we found several solutions but none of them were exactly what we wanted – they were big, they were heavy, they were expensive or maybe you couldn’t leave them on the RV when traveling. My goal was to free…

Camping Gear – Sea To Summit X Bowl

Today we review Sea to Summit’s collapsible bowl. The X Bowl, by Sea to Summit, is an ingenious way to hold food on the trail. It’s made of food grade flexible silicon that is cut resistant and can handle up to 300 degree temps. And is microwave and dishwasher safe. And it folds flat, saving a ton of space in your pack. The X bowl also comes in a ‘plate’ version and comes in some of our favorite colors. I love items that double as two and this one does. The bottom of the bowl is made of a cut resistant, high temperature, food grade nylon that can be used…

Darche Solar Light Demonstration & Review | Glows in the dark!

    – Hi guys, as nightfall falls on Tentworld at Tweed Heads, we thought what better an opportunity to talk about one of our favourite new light products from Darche, the Compact Solar Light. This is a great new product in the marketplace. It’s got a built-in solar panel on the top, so you can charge it during the day, free from the sun, and that’s cool. It’s also got a little USB socket on the side for charging from your 12 volt power sources. The snorkel on here actually allows you to adjust how wide the light throws. It can be very directional, pull up a little bit for a…

    REI | Co-op Tested, Co-op Made: Camping Chairs // Ep4

    – Hey, this is Jim from the Magnusson Lab. Today we’re gonna be doing a little bit of furniture testing. (vibrant music) Camp furniture is one of those things that you love, but you hate to see it break and throw it away, and we wanna make sure that doesn’t happen. And that’s not always easy to do with furniture that’s meant to be light enough to take backpacking. And so this is something that is kind of a challenge because you’re making a product that’s so light that you can carry it backpacking, but also supposedly strong enough to handle up to a, I think in this case, a…
