Jaime Lannister escapes from Robb’s camp

I’m not well-suited for imprisonment. Shocking, I know. Some men are. Ned Stark, I imagine he made an excellent prisoner right up until the end. Not me, though. My life has left me uniquely unfit for constraint. And have you thought about… Of course. Every day. And? Good prisoners breed good jailers, apparently. The Starks are very careful. But there is a way, I think. It wasn’t possible until now. What is it? – It’s actually quite simple. – Well, let me help you. You’ll only have to do one thing. Tell me. You’ll have to die. Military working dog Rick has served overseas for six years and now he’s of age where he’s ready to retire and take care of his health. So today we presented his handler with his leash and permanent ownership of Rick into retirement. When Rick walked out today I felt amazing it’s absolutely just amazing to be able to have him home and be able to have him…

Fort Boggy State Park – Texas Parks & Wildlife [Official]

[wind] – J.D. MILLER: It’s a very, very beautiful park. Very small, quaint. Unknown to a point. We most definitely are a hidden gem. Not many people know about this park because they hear about the bigger parks. Once they find out about this park, we see them coming back again and again. [bird call] [gentle music] – TOMMY NEYLAND: There’s woods, there’s open space. Every bit of it just real picturesque and something that you won’t forget. [upbeat music] [calm music] – I’m J.D. Miller, I’m the superintendent of Fort Boggy State Park. We consider ourselves East Texas. We’re about 45 minutes north of Huntsville, about two hours north…

    Fort Travis, Texas

I’m Brian Slie. I’m with FEMA Region 6, Project Specialist. FEMA’s here at Fort Travis on the Bolivar Peninsula due to the damages that occurred as a result of Hurricane Ike. Hurricane Ike came in of course with a high storm surge across Bolivar up to 18 to 20 feet in areas. What we’re looking at here is near 3,800 feet of promenade and walkway with a brick lane that was damaged by storm surge, hydro-compaction. We had subsidance of the ground supporting these structures here at this facility. We also have road issues that we have to replace gravel on the roads and road base. We have culverts that…

    Manchester’s Homeless Crisis | Britain’s Forgotten Men

I ended up getting a job in a call centre. Yo, bro! Don’t do that here, mate. I’ve done some grafting. Oh, he’s a fucking knobhead. We’ve only inherited it from them. It gets passed down the line. Feel the guilt when you look at these people, because, essentially, it’s our fault. What’s going on? The bailiffs still haven’t been. This is week 20, so we are 20, 20 today, and to be honest with you, I ain’t going nowhere. We can carry on totalling up these weeks, I’ll carry on letting the homeless people in, I’ll carry on supporting homeless people in any way, shape or form that I…

Yours to explore: working in Fort McMurray, Canada | Shell Careers

I would say overall Fort Mac is a nice place to be. The best reason for me to come to Fort Mac was because I thought it’ll give me the opportunity to work on the biggest mining project in Canada. The scale of our mining operation at the Atmospheric Fines Drying facility is massive. We move close to 50 to 100 thousand tons per day. Responsibility of my job entails managing an area which is close to 2 million square metres. I have close to 50 people in my department, and our operational budget is close to $30 million. It feels really good to be where I am now. My…
