Bushcraft Evening In The Bug Out Camp

Finally, it’s springtime. And right now I’m collecting dandelion and yarrow. And this early in the year, these plants are not that bitter as normal, as usual. So you can eat a good amount of them without getting a sore stomach. Okay, I have found a little bit of birch bark, which I am going to take with me as tinder. And there’s this old and rotten tree stump, and I want to see if I can find some grubs. I just found a grub, but it’s looking very disgusting. And it’s almost black, so I don’t want to eat it. Home, sweet home! Woohoo, yeah! Looking awesome. That’s where…

My Super Shelter – A Tour Through My Bug Out Camp

Hi guys, I’m Lilly and today I’m going to show you my bug out camp. Stay tuned. When it comes to bug out camps, camouflage is essential so that’s why I have put a lot of debris and leaves on the back side of my top. Let’s take a walk around my shelter here. As you can see I have built some walls around the shelter. and the reason why I set up these walls here is basically because I wanted to keep out the wind which comes from this direction. Bug Out Camp DESTROYED!

Yeah my shelter is a real mess… uh… My cousin, he felled some trees and one of the logs hit the shelter… and then I had to replace the ridgepole and after that I figured that I want to make the entire camp new and uh, I want to use a new tarp and a more stable uh… construction so that’s the mission for today. Stay tuned. Okay, we do have a problem. We have some wasps in the ground in the corner of the shelter. Apparently they have built a nest underneath the leaves uh… on my shelter. But I really want to get rid of them because uh……

Solo Overnight Winter Survival, Tarp, Knife, Rope | ASMR (Silent)

This adventure will be about making due with minimal survival gear. I am trying to remove as much of the snow as possible. When snow warms from the fire, it will create moisture. Moisture is bad, especially in the winter. Water take heat away 100 times faster than air, which can quickly lead to hypothermia. I’m looking for a straight dead tree to help with a shelter. This will be used to hold up the tarp. The ridge pole for a simple shelter. My cheap supplies. Tarp, rope, inexpensive cutter. Lean-to structures are quick and easy to make. But it is very difficult to construct them out of natural materials…
